The Labor Day Weekend Craft Festival in Yarmouth is a juried outdoor arts & craft event produced by Castleberry Fairs and held during one of Cape Cod’s busiest holiday weekends. Now in its 11th year, this well-established event continues to grow, featuring a carefully curated selection of American-made arts, crafts, and specialty foods in a relaxed coastal setting.

 

The festival attracts strong holiday weekend foot traffic from both locals and vacationers who value originality, skilled craftsmanship, and the opportunity to connect directly with the artists behind the work. Shoppers come ready to browse, engage, and support handmade businesses.

 

Accepted exhibitors can expect a professionally organized show with clear communication, thoughtful layout, and an audience that appreciates quality handmade work. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required upon acceptance. The remaining booth balance will be automatically processed 45 days prior to the event.

Exhibitor Notes

Overnight parking is available by preregistration only.

Setup: Friday 3:00–8:00pm and Saturday 6:00–9:00am

Show Hours: Saturday 10am to 5pm / Sunday 10am to 4pm

Outdoor Setup & Safety: This is a fully outdoor, high-wind location on mostly level grass and gravel. All canopies must be properly secured, staked, and with a minimum of 40 lbs per leg (heavier weights strongly recommended). 

Application Deposit:

A $100 non-refundable deposit will be charged upon approval. The remaining booth balance will be charged separately according to the payment schedule below.

Payment Timing:
Remaining balances will be charged on or after July 22, 2026. Applications submitted on or after this date will be charged the full booth amount upon approval.

Insurance:
A Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) is required for exhibitors offering consumable goods, including food, candles, personal care, aromatherapy, and similar products.

 

Specialty Food Requirements
All exhibitors selling or sampling food or beverages are required to obtain approval from the Yarmouth Health Department.

Specialty food exhibitors must create an account, submit documentation, and submit payment through the Town of Yarmouth Health Department online permitting system

We are looking for 1–2 great, non-competing food vendors to join us at this event.

 

Now in its 11th year, the Labor Day Weekend Craft Festival is a well-established outdoor event held during one of Cape Cod’s busiest holiday weekends. The show takes place at Simpkins Field in South Yarmouth, right on Route 28—an easy-to-access location with plenty of parking and strong visibility.

 

This location is especially popular with locals and convenient for visitors, creating a steady flow of shoppers throughout the weekend.

• Average attendance: 5,000 shoppers over the 2-day weekend (weather dependent)
• Extensive promotion across social media, print, and high-visibility roadside signage throughout the area
• No other food options onsite

 

To support vendor success, we will be very limited and selective:

• 1–2 main food vendors (non-competing menus)
• Plus specialty foods, kettle corn, and lemonade
Our goal is to create a balanced, non-duplicative food offering and a strong sales opportunity for each vendor. 


If a strong food vendor is secured, we will provide a designated dining area with tented seating to enhance the overall experience and encourage guests to stay longer.

Selected food vendors will be featured in event promotions, including social media and our event webpage.

 

This application is for vendors who prepare and serve food on-site during the event (food trucks, trailers, grills, fryers, and similar setups).

All food vendors must comply with local Health Department and Fire Prevention regulations and are responsible for obtaining all required permits.

$395 — Food Vendor Booth (all setups up to 32 ft)

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required upon acceptance.
The remaining balance will be automatically processed 45 days prior to the event.

 

Vendor Notes

Overnight & Dry RV parking is available, please note on your application if you will be parking and or camping overnight.

Vendors must remain fully set up and open during all event hours. Early breakdown is not permitted.

Admission to this event is free. This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event. Event hours, entertainment, or layout may be adjusted due to weather or circumstances beyond our control. Photography & Media Photography and video may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. Attendance constitutes consent to be photographed or recorded. Pets Friendly pets on a leash are welcome. Please ensure pets are well behaved and respectful of artisans, displays, and other guests.
