own tent weights.Late arrivals will not be permittedVendors must maintain a professional and welcoming booth space.Vendors are responsible for all licenses, permits, and insurance required by law.Vendors are responsible for their own tables, chairs, displays, lighting, trash and equipment.The Local Habit reserves the right to limit duplicate vendors.Failure to follow event rules may result in removal from current and future events.-----VENDOR CONDUCT & APPROVAL POLICYThe Local Habit is committed to creating a welcoming, professional, inclusive, and community-centered environment for vendors, attendees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and staff.Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into any event.The Local Habit reserves the right to approve, deny, remove, suspend, or refuse participation to any vendor, exhibitor, food vendor, sponsor, volunteer, performer, or organization at any time and for any reason deemed necessary to protect the integrity, safety, mission, operations, or overall experience of the event.Reasons for denial or removal may include, but are not limited to:• Failure to follow event rules, policies, or instructions from event staff.• Unprofessional, disrespectful, aggressive, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward attendees, vendors, volunteers, staff, sponsors, partners, or venue personnel.• Misrepresentation of products, services, business practices, licenses, permits, or insurance.• Failure to maintain required permits, licenses, certifications, or approvals.• Repeated late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or operational issues.• Products, services, displays, messaging, or conduct that conflict with the mission, values, or intended experience of The Local Habit.• Safety concerns, venue violations, or behavior that negatively impacts the event experience.• Failure to comply with local, state, federal, venue, or event requirements.The Local Habit reserves the right to remove any vendor from an event without refund if their conduct, products, setup, or actions are determined to be detrimental to the event, venue, attendees, other vendors, or the organization.By submitting an application and participating in a Local Habit event, vendors acknowledge and agree to these terms.------HOLD HARMLESS, LIABILITY WAIVER & INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENTBy submitting an application and participating in any event hosted, organized, or managed by The Local Habit Community Initiative, the vendor acknowledges and agrees to the following:The vendor understands that participation in this event is voluntary and assumes all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, theft, loss of merchandise, vehicle damage, weather-related incidents, accidents, acts of attendees, acts of other vendors, and any other unforeseen circumstances.The vendor agrees to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Local Habit Community Initiative, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, partners, event staff, representatives, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the event.The vendor further agrees to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Parkway Crossings Apartments, its ownership, management company, employees, agents, contractors, representatives, affiliates, and property owners from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the event or presence on the property.The vendor assumes full responsibility for the conduct of themselves, their employees, representatives, volunteers, contractors, guests, and anyone operating under their business during the event.The vendor agrees to indemnify and defend The Local Habit Community Initiative and Parkway Crossings Apartments against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, attorney fees, or expenses arising from the vendor's actions, negligence, products, services, operations, employees, representatives, equipment, vehicles, or booth activities.The vendor is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining any licenses, permits, certifications, insurance, inspections, or approvals required by federal, state, county, or local law.The vendor understands that The Local Habit Community Initiative and Parkway Crossings Apartments are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property, equipment, inventory, vehicles, trailers, tents, displays, merchandise, or personal belongings.The vendor acknowledges that event dates, times, layouts, vendor placement, parking arrangements, and operational procedures may change as necessary and agrees to comply with all instructions provided by event staff and property management.By submitting an application, making payment, and/or participating in the event, the vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Hold Harmless, Liability Waiver, and Indemnification Agreement.
