🍴 Kimmswick Food Truck Fridays – 2026 Season! 🎉 Our Food Truck Fridays run March through December, and each event is packed with great food, fun, and entertainment for the whole family! ✨ What to Expect: A rotating lineup of live music, movie nights, or even local Sports games on the big screen 🎶⚾🎬 When there’s no live performance, we keep the good vibes going with music throughout the event area 🎧 Access to yard games and, when hosted in City Park, a playground for the kids 🎯 Plenty of seating—but feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets for that cozy picnic feel 🧺 Local boutiques staying open late for a little after-dinner shopping 🛍️ 📍 Event Locations: Food Truck Fridays alternate between: City Hall Field – 6041 Third St. City Park – Corner of 5th St. & Beckett St. Vendors will be notified of their location the week of the event. FOOD/BEVERAGE PERMIT: ALL FOOD/BEVERAGE VENDORS AND COTTAGE LAW VENDORS (selling pre-packaged cooked/baked items) WHO ARE PROVIDING SAMPLES OR REQUIRE HEATING/COOLING OF PRODUCTS MUST HAVE A FOOD & BEVERAGE PERMIT THROUGH JEFFERSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Hi Food Truck Vendors,

 

We’re excited to invite you to join us for our Food Truck Friday events — evenings filled with great food, fun, and community right here in Kimmswick!

 

Our Food Truck Fridays feature a variety of entertainment throughout the season (March-December). On select nights, we’ll have live music, movie nights, or even a local sports team playing on our big screen! When we don’t have live performances, we keep the atmosphere lively with music playing throughout the event area. We also provide access to all of your favorite yard games to play, and a playground located in City park when the events are scheduled at this location. Tons of seating is available, we also suggest to attendees to bring their own blankets and chairs for a picnic setting. Some of our local boutiques stay open late to offer an after-hours shopping experience once guest have filled their bellies with your delicious food favorites.

 

The events are hosted between two locations in our small town- City Hall Field (located at 6041 Third St) or City Park (located at the corner of 5th St. and Beckett St.). After approval, You will be contacted the week of the event letting you know which location we will be utilizing for the event. If you’d like to be a part of the fun, please complete our Food Truck Friday Vendor Application. Space is limited, and we work to ensure a good mix of food options for attendees — so be sure to apply early.

 

Once your application is reviewed, we’ll follow up to let you know if you’ve been approved, waitlisted, or if we need any additional details.

 

We can’t wait to showcase our amazing local food trucks and make this season’s Food Truck Friday events our best yet!

 

This cost for each Food Truck Friday includes the temporary business license fee for vendors at each event night during the 2026 Season. It is a flat rate and charged per event date. We do not take a percentage of the sales at our events. The Kimmswick Food Truck Friday Season is March through December each year from 5-9 p.m. on the third Friday of each month. Payment is processed 1 week before each event. No refunds are allowed once payment is processed. 


The 2026 season includes the following dates:


March 20th, 2026: 5-9 p.m.
April 17th, 2026: 5-9 p.m.

May 15th, 2026: 5-9 p.m.

June 19th, 2026: 5-9 p.m

July 17th, 2026: 5-9 p.m.

August 21st, 2026: 5-9 p.m.

September 18th, 2026: 5-9 p.m.

October 16th, 2026: 5-9 p.m.

November 20th, 2026: 5-9 p.m.

December 18th, 2026: 5-9 p.m.

 

Once approved, you will be assigned a location on our city streets to use on the above dates. Please make sure you select which dates (or all of the above) that you plan to attend! It is the flat fee of $75 to attend one of the dates! Electricity is by request. Generators are welcomed, preferably on the quieter side to not drown out the live music.

 

If you are a no-show on one of the above dates you were scheduled for, you will be charged an additional $50.00 for not utilizing the space on that specific date. This charge is per occurrence.

 

ALL SPACE ASSIGNMENTS ARE MADE AT THE SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF THE KIMMSWICK EVENTS COMMITTEE. 

 

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Once you submit your application, you will receive an email stating the submission was successful. Submitting an application does not guarantee you will be approved as a vendor.  You will receive a follow-up email once you have been approved.

 

If you receive an email stating you were waitlisted, this means the Event Committee has reviewed your application and are taking it into consideration. Being waitlisted does not mean you have been denied, and it does not mean you will be approved. It means the Event Committee must further review before making a decision. 

 

All events are held rain or shine, unless weather emergency occurs. Please plan accordingly. No refunds given for inclement weather. 

 

Food vendors must have their food & beverage permit and fire district permit (if applicable) always displayed.

 

Kimmswick Business License must always be displayed.

 

 SET-UP: Food Trucks will be assigned spaces on Third St. between Market & Elm St. Please do not block any driveways while setting up. Please remember to respect our city residents and merchants, they must be able to enter their driveways to their homes and businesses.

 

· TRUCK SPACE(S): If you set your truck is set up in the wrong area you will be asked to move. PLEASE CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SPACE LOCATION… WHEN IN DOUBT ASK.  Someone will be happy to help.

 

·         No selling from cardboard boxes/rubber tubs, all inventories are to be placed on tables and neatly displayed boxes/tubs must be kept out of sight, if under your table they must be covered.

 

 IF A SITUATION ARISES AND YOU CANNOT LOCATE A CITY STAFF MEMBER, PLEASE CALL: 636-464-7407 AND WE WILL SEND SECURITY TO YOUR SITE TO ASSIST WITH THE SITUATION.

·   Electricity is LIMITED!

 

·   Please specify the required amps you need when requesting electricity.

 

·   Please bring your own extension cords to be able to run from outlet box to truck area.

If you require additional parking for personal vehicles, city staff will direct you to allocated locations.

 

                                               

THE KIMMSWICK EVENT COMMITTEE

 

·         We reserve the right to determine vendor location. This determination will be based on the size and space available.

 

·         The day of the event, vendor locations may be moved, prior to and/or after setting up, for any reason by the discretion of the City of Kimmswick Staff and/or Event Committee

 

·         The City of Kimmswick and the Event Committee reserve the right to utilize the images of your products to promote on social media to attract more visitors. The event committee will make every effort possible to identify the businesses with the images posted to help with promoting our vendors.

 

·         The Event Committee encourages all vendors to promote this event to the best of their ability, posting on social media, tagging the City of Kimmswick Events page on Facebook and/or Instagram, inviting your network to our Facebook event page; however, not required. SALES TAX:  Per the Missouri Department of Revenue. Each vendor will be responsible for collection and payment of Missouri Sales Tax Please contact the Missouri Department of Revenue 573-751-3505. We do send a report to the D.O.R.; however, it is your responsibility to contact them prior to the events. 

 

Register with the State of Missouri for a State Sales Tax Number.

 

City of Kimmswick Sales Tax Rate: 8.86%

ARE YOU AN ACTIVITY/ENTERTAINMENT VENDOR???

 

An Activity/ Entertainment Vendor provides interactive or experiential activities for attendees. These activities can range from educational workshops to games, interactive art installations, or demos of specific products, talents, or skills. Examples of activity/entertainment vendors include but are not limited to: face painters, henna tattoo artists, hair braiders, balloon artists, and/or game-related vendors.
