This year, we are expanding our programming to include a variety of one hour classes for school-aged children, in a variety of categories. These classes will be in accord with the visual arts standards for the state of Alabama. Each studio in this series will feature a different visual arts activity that engages the kids, while teaching them important skills. This series will be a great opportunity to show how the arts can overlap traditional learning methods.
We suggest ages 8 & up attend these crafts, but please let us know the age of your younger child when purchasing your ticket and we can make accommodations. Children under 10 need to be accompanied by an adult.
November will feature 6 classes:
Session A: Saturday, November12; 11AM-12 PM
We will practice gratitude and construct a 3D giving thanks tree.
Session B: Saturday November 12; 1PM-2 PM
We will be constructing a decorative bowl with mod podge and fall leaves.
