About the event
In preparation for the 10th Annual Juneteenth Augusta Festival, Band of Brothers Augusta is hosting a Community Cleanup Day to serve the very neighborhoods that support this celebration each year. This initiative is about more than beautification — it’s about ownership, pride, and collective responsibility. Volunteers will assist with litter removal and light debris clearing within a predetermined neighborhood or area selected for cleanup. Together, we aim to leave the space better than we found it and demonstrate visible community pride in action. This is an opportunity to: • Serve alongside local leaders and residents • Strengthen community connections • Promote environmental responsibility • Show that Juneteenth Augusta is about impact — not just a single day All supplies will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, bring water, and be prepared for outdoor activity.

Parking instructions
Parking for the Juneteenth Community Clean-Up will be available in the general area where the clean-up activities are taking place. Because locations may vary from year to year, participants are asked to use available street parking or nearby public parking areas when arriving. Please park legally and follow all posted parking signs and local traffic regulations. Do not block driveways, intersections, fire hydrants, sidewalks, or access points for residents and businesses. Participants should also avoid parking in restricted, private, or no-parking zones unless clearly designated for event use. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping keep the area safe, accessible, and respectful to the surrounding community.
