Health & Safety Guidelines Juneteenth Organized by City of Morrow May 2nd, 2025 | 1065 Olde Towne Morrow RD, Morrow, GA 30260 Your safety is our top priority. To ensure a safe, fun, and culturally respectful event for everyone, please follow these Health and Safety Guidelines: General Attendee Guidelines Stay home if you’re sick — Anyone showing symptoms of illness (fever, cough, fatigue, etc.) should not attend. Hydration — Stay hydrated. Weather precautions — Prepare for sun or rain. Wear sunscreen and bring weather-appropriate clothing. Lost & Found — Visit the Booth next to the Stage or contact any event staff member for assistance. Emergency Preparedness first responders will be present throughout the event. In case of an emergency: Stay calm. Follow staff and security instructions. Alert nearby staff or call 911 Sanitation & Cleanliness Handwashing and sanitizing stations will be available in the provided bathrooms. Food vendors must follow health department regulations for food handling and sanitation. Crowd Control & Venue Safety Do not block entrances, exits, or walkways. Large bags may be subject to inspection upon entry. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Performers & Vendors All equipment and setup areas must be secure and not pose a tripping or fire hazard. Electrical cords must be taped down or covered. Cooking vendors must have: Proper fire extinguishers on-site (Class K for grease fires). Safe gas and flame setup in accordance with local fire codes. Vendors and performers must comply with all local health and safety regulations. Heat Safety Anyone feeling dizzy or overheated should visit the Morrow Fire Department Tent immediately. Staff & Volunteer Safety All staff and volunteers will be identifiable by official event badges,T-shirts or vest. Report any hazards or concerns immediately to your supervisor or the event safety coordinator. Event Terms & Conditions By entering or attending this event, all attendees agree to the following Terms and Conditions: 1. Entry and Participation This is a free public event and no ticket is required for entry. Entry is subject to venue capacity and safety regulations. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person for unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful behavior. 2. Security and Safety Attendees may be subject to security screening or bag checks. Weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, hazardous materials, and other prohibited items are not permitted. Attendees must follow all instructions from event staff, security personnel, and emergency responders. 3. Code of Conduct Respectful behavior toward attendees, vendors, performers, staff, and the public is required at all times. Harassment, violence, discrimination, vandalism, or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Individuals violating these rules may be removed from the event premises. 4. Photography and Media Release By attending the event, attendees consent to photography, video recording, and audio recording that may be used for promotional, marketing, or media purposes without compensation. 5. Personal Responsibility Attendees participate at their own risk. The organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. 6. Liability Waiver To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizer, venue owners, sponsors, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, accident, delay, or damage arising from attendance at the event. 7. Event Changes The organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, interrupt, or cancel the event due to weather, safety concerns, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. 8.
