4-Week Acrylic Class (July, 1,8,15,22)
Wednesdays at 10am. Learning from the Masters. Make-up classes available on Thursdays.
In this four-week acrylic painting class, students will study the bold, expressive style of Henri Matisse. This class focuses on simplifying shapes, using non-traditional color, and painting with confidence rather than detail.
During the first two weeks, students will reproduce a Matisse-inspired work to understand his approach to color and composition. In the final weeks, students will create an original painting using bold color choices and simplified forms.
This class is ideal for artists ready to break free from realism and paint more intuitively.
