About the event
The event will feature artisans, hands-on experiences, local authors, performing arts (dance, live music, theatrical components), as well as high school artists and a juried exhibit. This is a family-friendly event. We are currently accepting applications for the Juried Exhibit, Artisan Tents, and Sponsorships.

Health & safety
Beer, wine, and sangria will be for sale. No outside alcohol (Alcohol will be for sale from vendors) No pets (service animals are allowed) No tents or structures Please feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets Restrooms are available on the exterior of City Hall (on south side of the City Hall building) and are accessible from The Boardwalk. Additional restrooms will be on the west side of the North Pond, near the Food Truck area.

This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the type of booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

 

Please note that ALL accepted artisan tents will need to have a live demonstration or a quick make and take craft. You must provide details on what engagement you will be supplying in the application.

 

Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.

 

Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.

 

Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted

 

Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.

 

Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.

 

Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.

 

Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments. 

 

Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.

 

Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable.

 

Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered. 

 

Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.

 

Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.

 

Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

 

All artists will be allowed to sell at the event, but you must provide your own POS system and connection. There will not be wifi available or power at this event. If you require power for your engagement, you must bring a low power generator approved by the Fire Marshal's office. You will recieve a 10x10 tent, with two tables and four chairs. You may fill the 10x10 space in anyway you see fit.

The Johns Creek Arts on the Boardwalk Juried Art Exhibit invites original 2D fine artists to apply for an opportunity to display and sell their work in a competitive, curated exhibition.


This juried showcase highlights high-caliber visual art across a variety of traditional and contemporary media. Accepted artists will have their work evaluated by a panel of jurors and displayed on standardized gridwall panels throughout the event.
