Juneteenth is a celebration of all that was accomplished on June 19, 1865, when some 2,000 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas. The army announced that the more than 250,000 enslaved black people in the state, were free by executive decree. This day came to be known as "Juneteenth," by the newly freed people in Texas and was later declared a federal holiday. The Johns Creek Juneteenth Celebration is a time for the entire community to come together to learn about this time in history and celebrate!

Vendor Parking: parking is available throughout Newtown Park. There is no designated vendor parking.

We are looking for performers who can provide an authentic and diverse experience for Celebration attendees. We are interested in musical performers, dancers, storytellers, and more. 

All applications are due by May 3rd, 2024

PLEASE NOTE: There is no monetary compensation for performances. Please do not complete this application if your group/ band/act only accepts dates for paid performances. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS
There is no fee to perform. Once you submit your application, you will be notified if your performance has a time slot on the stage.
