Island Park Show (IPS) is one of the largest outdoor craft and arts events of the summer, presented by the Fargo Park District. It brings together over 100 different booths featuring makers and creators of handcrafted arts, crafts, food, and more.
Our goal is to showcase original, handmade works from talented vendors — offering attendees a wide variety of unique, creative, and locally made treasures.
Vendors may apply in up to three (3) categories for one application form. All items displayed and sold must be handcrafted by you (the vendor), and must comply with IPS rules.
Below are the current IPS categories in which you may apply:
Apparel — handmade clothing or wearable items
Food & Beverage — home-baked goods, processed foods, or food items prepared in compliance with health regulations (note: some items may require licenses).
Furniture — artisan-made furniture pieces
Glass/Porcelain — handmade glass or porcelain works (functional or decorative)
Graphics/Photography — original photography or graphic art (print, digital, etc.)
Jewelry — original handmade jewelry designs (note: resold or commercially manufactured jewelry is not allowed)
Natural — items crafted from natural materials (e.g. baskets, gourds, organic materials)
Painting / Drawing / 2-D Art — original works (paintings, drawings, digital art, etc.)
Pottery / Ceramics — handmade pottery or ceramic items
Sculptures / Metalwork — original sculptural or decorative pieces made from metal or mixed media
Textile — textile arts such as quilts, fabric art, fiber arts (non mass-produced)
Toys — handcrafted toys made by the vendor
Woodwork / Decorative Wood — handmade wooden items, carvings, or turned wood works
If your work spans multiple mediums (e.g. mixed-media combining wood, metal, or glass), please be sure to select each relevant category — up to a maximum of three.
The Island Park Show is one of Fargo’s premier summer events, bringing together high-quality artists, makers, and thousands of attendees for a weekend experience in the heart of Island Park.
We are seeking experienced, professional food vendors to be part of our designated food court area, offering a variety of food options that enhance the overall guest experience. Vendors should be prepared to serve a high-volume crowd efficiently while maintaining strong presentation, cleanliness, and customer service standards.
This is a curated event, and all food vendor applications will be reviewed to ensure a diverse and well-balanced selection of offerings.
Food vendors are responsible for:
- Providing a full menu with pricing at the time of application
- Supplying all necessary equipment for safe food preparation and service
- Complying with all local and state health regulations
- Carrying proper insurance coverage
- Following all event guidelines and operational expectations
Please note:
- Space is limited and not all applicants will be accepted
- Preference may be given to vendors offering unique menu items or efficient service models
- While appreciated, returning vendors are not guaranteed acceptance

The Mini Makers Mart is a new addition to the Island Park Show (IPS), created to highlight young entrepreneurs and creators in our community. Held on Saturday, August 29th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this one-day market gives youth the opportunity to showcase and sell their handmade goods within one of the largest outdoor craft and arts events of the summer, presented by the Fargo Park District.
Our goal is to support and encourage the next generation of makers by providing a space to share their creativity, build confidence, and experience what it’s like to run their own booth at a large-scale community event.
Participants in the Mini Makers Mart must create and sell their own handcrafted items. This opportunity is designed for youth vendors, with support from a parent or guardian, and all items must comply with IPS guidelines.
Due to limited space, applications will be reviewed to ensure a balanced mix of products and a fun, high-quality experience for attendees.
Mini Makers may apply with products in categories similar to the Island Park Show, including but not limited to:
- Apparel — handmade clothing or wearable items
- Food & Beverage — home-baked or pre-packaged goods (must follow applicable guidelines)

- Natural — items crafted from natural materials
- Painting / Drawing / 2-D Art — original works
- Pottery / Ceramics — handmade pieces
