The 1st Annual Hometown Christmas Artisan Craft Market, a special edition of Favored Conference and Events Artisan Craft Markets in partnership with the Kernersville Museum Foundation and the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, transforms downtown Kernersville into a true old-fashioned Christmas celebration—where Blooms to Bells comes alive with twinkling lights, hometown pride, and holiday cheer around every corner.
This festive market features local artisans, seasonal shopping, food trucks, carolers, Santa Claus, and the beloved annual Christmas Tree Lighting (6–7 PM at Town Hall) with hot cocoa, donuts, and live performances from local choirs and musicians. Guests can also enjoy ice skating at the Kernersville Museum, Christmas by Candlelight at Körner’s Folly (5–9 PM), and holiday shopping and trolley rides through Blooms to Bells (4–8 PM)—bringing the entire downtown into one glowing Christmas experience.
Vendor Holiday Storefront Competition (Required)
As part of this special Hometown Christmas Market, all participating vendors are required to fully decorate their booth or space in an old-fashioned, festive Christmas theme. This is not only encouraged—it is part of a friendly storefront decorating competition designed to bring a cohesive, hometown holiday feel throughout the market.
We are looking for creativity rooted in tradition: warm lights, classic Christmas colors, nostalgic décor, handmade touches, and small-town holiday charm. Think less modern minimalism and more old-fashioned Christmas on Main Street.
All vendor spaces must be decorated in a festive Christmas theme
Displays should reflect a hometown, traditional, and family-friendly holiday feel
Judging will take place during the event hours
A prize will be awarded for the Best Holiday Booth Display
Winner will be selected based on creativity, presentation, and overall Christmas spirit
This requirement helps create a fully immersive holiday experience where downtown Kernersville feels like stepping into a timeless Christmas village.
