Presented by Cultural Arts Murfreesboro, the 22nd annual Greenway Art Festival is held in Old Fort Park along the Murfreesboro Greenway. This year's festival will take place on September 19, 2026 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. We are looking forward to another excellent celebration of authentic, regional artists and craftsman!

Health & safety
We encourage all guests and vendors to prepare ahead of time. Bring ample amounts of water, and take breaks from the heat in a shady, cool area when necessary. By attending or participating in this event, guests and vendors acknowledge the risks associated with high temperatures and outdoor conditions. Each individual assumes responsibility for monitoring their own health and wellbeing throughout the event. All food vendors are required to possess permits through the City of Murfreesboro to maintain necessary health and safety regulations.

JR Vendor Rules and Regulations
The Jr. Greenway Art Festival is an opportunity for schools, homeschool groups, and individuals under the age of 18 to share their work with the arts community in Murfreesboro. This is a juried show. Submission of this form does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. All submissions are judged on the basis of subject, overall quality, originality, and presentation. We are looking forward to the celebration of our community's young artists! The festival director reserves the right to ask that any inappropriate or ineligible work be removed. Exhibit space will be awarded to artists with the top scores by the selection committee. The festival director reserves the right to maintain a balanced show and to ask that any inappropriate or ineligible work be removed. *Entry into previous shows does not guarantee entry into the 2026 Jr. Greenway Art Festival.* ELIGIBLE WORK All applicants to the Jr. Greenway Art Festival must be under the age of 18 or associated with a school group. Artist selection will be juried based on subject, overall quality, originality, and presentation. All original fine art is eligible, including but not limited to: printmaking, bookbinding, fiber art, painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture. All work must be original and created by the artist. The festival director reserves the right to ask that any inappropriate or ineligible work be removed. DEADLINES The submission form deadline is August 31, 2026. All applications must be filed through this online portal. Artists will be notified of acceptance or denial by September 7, 2026. REGISTRATION FEES Schools, homeschool groups, and individuals under the age of 18 will not be charged a registration fee. BOOTHS Booths will be 10'x10' areas along the trail. Exhibitors will be responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs, easels, and necessary display units; you must bring a canopy tent to shade your area. If you have special needs or concerns, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you. Booth assignments will be based on the date the application is received. In the application Jr. Greenway Art Festival, artists will be able to specify their booth preferences. Please note, if you are a small group or individual, you may be assigned a shared booth with other Jr. exhibitors. Booth assignments will be received upon arrival to the festival. Failure to respect the assigned booth placement is grounds for removal from the festival. SALES Each exhibitor is responsible for their sales. Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department, and Cultural Arts Murfreesboro do not collect commissions on sales. Each exhibitor is responsible for Tennessee sales tax. These rules are posted at each trailhead and are available online at www.murfreesborotn.gov. • Artist check-in will be Saturday morning from 7:00 – 8:30 a.m. Exhibitors will drive to their site, unload, and move their vehicles to the designated parking area. All vehicles must be moved out of the exhibition area no later than 9:00 a.m. and may not return until 4:00 p.m. There is no check-in after 8:30 a.m. • Exhibitors must participate in the entire event. The booth must be occupied by the artist or an artist representative during scheduled hours: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • Exhibitors are responsible for the security of their own work. We assume no responsibility for any loss or damage to artwork or display materials from any cause whatsoever. • No food or edible items may be sold or distributed by anyone other than designated food vendors. • All applicants, upon signing and submission of the official registration form, consent to be bound by these regulations and will abide by them throughout the Greenway Art Festival. • Any exhibitors who do not abide by the rules and regulations contained herein may be excused from the show. CANCELATIONS We hope to have perfect fall weather, but if we are not so fortunate, and are met with heavy rains, the senior Greenway Art Festival will switch to a virtual on-line festival that will be publicized for one week starting from the originally scheduled date and will not be reschedule or move to an indoor location. Links will be sent to each participant and will be publicized on the City website murfreesborotn.gov and @CulturalArtsMurfreesboro social media sites. Jr. Greenway Art Festival participants will NOT be publicized in the virtual festival. Adult Vendor Rules and Regualtions
The Artist selection will be juried based on subject, overall quality, originality, and presentation. Your card will not be charged at the time of application. Payment will be processed automatically only upon acceptance into the festival. No refunds will be issued. Due to the timing and the broad group of people who attend this festival, it offers the perfect opportunity to highlight your exclusive art pieces, as well as offer a selection of lower price-point options to introduce your artistry to a new audience.  The festival director reserves the right to ask that any inappropriate or ineligible work be removed. Late application and payment will increase $10 on August 1, 20206. No applications will be accepted after August 31, 2026. REGISTRATION FEES   If accepted into the Greenway Art Festival, you will be autamatically charged for the booth selection made in your application. Payments will only be accepted electronically. Applicants will be informed via email if they are accepted or denied. 10‘ x 10’ booth space along trail: $50 per booth space plus tax. Mandatory: Artists must provide their own 10' x 10' canopy tent. Electricity not available 10‘ x 10’ booth space in covered pavilion: $65 per booth space plus tax. Electricity available (Note: Due to limited availability, Pavilion spaces will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis along with application and payment. If you select a pavillion sace but miss the cut off, you will be offered a space along the trail.) Booth spaces will be pre-assigned. Multiple booths may be reserved.
