We are so excited to introduce you to one of our favorite community partners! Please join us in welcoming Goldfish Swim School as an official sponsor for Good Kidizen.
Their team of water safety and early childhood experts has developed a fun, interactive program focused on water safety and drowning prevention!
This is a structured, fun 20-minute lesson focused on completing the following goals:
- The concept and the importance of water safety for kids
- How to avoid potential dangers in and around the water
- Different ways to handle water crisis situations
- Water safety techniques
Water Safety Guidelines
The techniques we teach during our water safety class are the same techniques we teach in the pool. We have broken down some of our water safety guidelines into a simple acronym.
It’s easy: W.A.T.E.R.
- Wear your life jacket.
- Act. Throw, don’t go.
- Take swim lessons.
- Educate. Learn swim safety skills.
- Respect. Play it cool and follow the rules.
You'll also get to meet their mascot, Bubbles.
