Class 1 - Create a paper sculpture inspired by one of Dorothy's sculptures
January 10th - ON SALE NOW
Class 2 - Learn to draw bends and curves by drawing one of Dorothy's sculptures.
February 21st - ON SALE NOW
Class 3 - Create a sketchbook and draw in the museum.
March 21st - ON SALE NOW
In this hands-on workshop, the Art Instructor, Author and Artist Michelle Sherman will guide students in transforming simple, everyday materials, such as paper, tagboard and a variety of miscellaneous objects, into vibrant, imaginative works of art. Drawing inspiration from Dorothy Gillespie's colorful, swirling forms, students will learn how to create dynamic sculptures and expressive compositions. Through creative play and experimentation, kids will explore color, texture, and form while building confidence in their own artist voice. Materials are included!
Hands-on creation of art is the best way for kids to learn about the museum and exhibitions, drawing concepts, interpret artwork, immersing themselves in their community art culture.

INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:
By completing this application, Parent/Student acknowledges that they have read and understand the information provided and requirements for participation and agree to the terms herein. By completing this application, Parent/Student shall indemnify, defend and save harmless to the extent of its insurance coverage, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and its member entities which consist of the City of Delray Beach (CITY); Parent/Student agrees to defend, indemnify and save harmless the Indemnitees, their officers, agents and employees, against any liability arising from or based upon the violation of any federal, state, county or city laws, by-laws, ordinances or regulations. The indemnification provided above shall obligate the Parent/Student to defend, at his/her own expense or to provide for such defense, at the Indemnitees' option, any and all claims or liability and all suits and actions of every name and description that may be brought against the Indemnitees, their officers, agents, or employees which may result from the operations and activities under this Contract. This Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement include all costs and fees including attorney's fees and costs at trial and appellate levels.
