Join us for the GACTC Oktoberfest 25th Anniversary Celebration—a full day of German heritage, community spirit, and unforgettable entertainment. Enjoy live German bands, dancing, and singing, along with family-friendly attractions including a kid zone, train rides, a car show, and crowd-favorite Wiener dog races. Savor authentic food, visit the Beer Garten and Wine Garten, and take part in our special Veterans Parade. VIP packages are available for an enhanced festival experience. This event is proudly hosted by a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting veterans, including Honor Flights, homeless veterans, and Hibiscus House. All proceeds go directly back into our community. Bring your family and friends and celebrate with us—it is a day you will not want to miss.

Attending an Oktoberfest when temperatures are unseasonably hot requires a few adjustments to traditional habits. Here are the essential health and safety suggestions for navigating a hot-weather Oktoberfest: 1. Smart Hydration & Pacing • The Water Rule: Alternate every second alcoholic beverage with a electrolyte water at our concession stands. • Electrolytes: Water alone may not be enough if you are sweating heavily. Supplement with our special electrolyte drinks or sports drinks to replace lost sodium and prevent cramping. • Avoid Drinking on an Empty Stomach: Foods like pretzels, brats, burgers, sausages, and pop corn help slow the absorption of alcohol, which is especially important when heat is already taxing your cardiovascular system. 2. Clothing & Sun Protection • Modify Traditional Attire: If you are wearing traditional German garb (Dirndls or Lederhosen), opt for lighter-weight, breathable fabrics rather than heavy materials, leather, or multi-layered (shirts). If wearing casual clothes, choose loose-fitting, light-colored garments that allow air circulation. • Headwear: Wear a lightweight hat (like a traditional Tyrolean hat with ventilation or a wide-brimmed hat) to shield your face and head from direct sunlight. • Sunscreen:. Keep in mind that severe sunburn inhibits the skin's natural ability to cool itself. 3. Managing the Environment & Crowds • Seek provided shaded zones: Plan your seating and tent locations around shaded areas. Avoid sitting directly out in unshaded asphalt or direct midday sun for extended periods. • Take Cooling Breaks: Step into our Air-Conditioned beer tents regularly. Give your body a break by spending 10 to 15 minutes in cooler, open-air zones or air-conditioned indoor spaces if available on-site. • Pace Yourself: Treat the festival like a marathon, not a sprint. High temperatures accelerate physical fatigue, making you tire much faster than you would in cool autumn weather.

Welcome to the GACTC 25th Annual Oktoberfest!

Our community events are fundraisers for the forgotten, specifically abused and abandoned children and our military veterans. Thank you for your support and participation.

The open class car show is hosted by Yvonne GACTC Sgt at Arms, formerly of Holy Grounds.

Please pre-register, due to limited spaces. Max is 50 spaces. Show is Sunday for our Salute to Veterans / First Responders.

The actual Oktoberfest event is 3 days.

FRIDAY - PIRATE NIGHT ROCKTOBERFEST

Pirate costumes, shanty music and classic rock.

SATURDAY - FAMILY DAY

SUNDAY - A SALUTE TO VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS

Oompah music traditional German festivities

German makes and patriotic themed cars, tactical, novelty first responder vehicles or military tribute cars are encouraged to show on Sunday for greater audience impact.. These cars are spotlighted. All cars are welcomed.

REGISTRATION FEE

$30 entry per day.

Driver receives free parking, free gate admission wristband, and 4 food and/or drink tickets. ($35 value).

Passengers will pay gate admission. Everyone attending an alcohol featured event must have a wristband. Wristbands are $10 each OR half off, $5 for seniors 65+, minors 13-20, veterans, and first responders with ID. Kids 12 and under are free. KidZone wristband $10 all day access., must be accompanied by an adult.

Shade tents and restrooms are provided throughout the car show. Please bring chairs and little tables. Outside food, drinks and coolers are not permitted. Big tent beer garden is air conditioned. A 20' jumbotron screen facing the car show let's you see what's happening on the stage in the big tent.

All cars are to arrive by 11 am on Sunday, in place one hour before gates open at noon. People's Choice 1st, 2nd, 3rd trophies best in show to be awarded at 4 pm. The roads will be opened just after 4 pm when foot traffic is cleared, then it is safe to exit.

Have a great show! Expected oktoberfest attendance is 12k-15k throughout the weekend. Vendor spaces are still available, if you know anyone interested.
