About Katelyn Nethery: Hi everyone! My name is Katie Nethery and I am a recent UA graduate! I got my bachelors degree in English and am currently applying to go back to school for my masters in creative writing. I have loved art and writing since I was able to hold a pencil or paint brush. I would even fuss at my grandpa at a mere 4 years old when he tried to mix the paints together in the pan. This year I was able to share that love to kids at Echols Middle School teaching creative expressions. I believe creativity can take us to new worlds of happiness and freedom!
This workshop is sponsored in part by the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
