Learn the beginning stages of macrame through simple braided friendship bracelets. Little ones can work on their concentration and dexterity, while creating a colorful design they can wear or give to a friend! This class is limited to participants 8 & up. Participants under 10 will need to be accompanied by an adult to assist them with their craft.
There is a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 16. If the minimum is not met, participants will be refunded.

About Molly Nelko: A native of Mobile, AL, Molly Nelko has joined Kentuck’s staff as our Programming Assistant! She attended Springhill College and received a BA in fine art with a focus on oil painting and printmaking. Her work has been in individual exhibitions from Portland, OR to Hilton Head SC, and can be found online. Molly currently lives in Tuscaloosa with her husband, three children, and cat Quill. She has experimented with many different forms of art, and some of her favorites are encaustic, tessellations, and ink wash. Molly currently works in her studio regularly, but her focus has become more about enjoying creative projects with her children.

This class will be held in our Georgine Clarke building at 1922 5th Street, Northport, AL 35476. The entrance is on 5th Street across from the Anders Hardware parking lot. Look for red sculptures out front and glass doors! There is a parking lot next to this building, and participants are also welcome to park in Downtown Northport.
