The Downtown Chico Business Association is proud to bring back one of Chico's most cherished summer traditions, the Friday Night Concert Series! Since 1978, this free, family friendly concert series has brought the community together through music, dancing, and summertime joy in the heart of Downtown Chico.
Bring Your Dinner, Stay for the Music!
Grab takeout from your favorite downtown restaurant and enjoy your meal picnic-style in the Plaza while the band plays. Support local restaurants and soak up the music-filled summer atmosphere.

Parking is located on maps and is free during Friday Night Concert hours.
Health & safety
Children:
Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Smoking:
The City Plaza is also designated as a smoke-free zone.
Photography & Media:
Photographs of vendors, customers, and performers during the Friday Night Concerts may be used for future event promotion, including printed materials, social media, and the DCBA website.

Be part of the energy and excitement of our Friday Night Concerts in Downtown Chico. This popular summer series brings large crowds to the plaza for live music, creating a vibrant atmosphere and great opportunity for vendors to connect with the community. We welcome a variety of vendors, including select goods that complement the event experience. With strong attendance and a lively setting, Friday Night Concerts are a great way to showcase your business, engage with new customers, and be part of signature downtown events.
Please note: food stalls/trucks will not be permitted at Friday Night Concerts unless specifically invited by the DCBA.

It takes a village to bring our Friday Night Concerts to life, and we truly appreciate your support. Volunteers play a key role in making these events successful and enjoyable for the whole community. We’re looking for help with event set-up, beer pouring, ticket collection, safety support, and clean-up. Whether you can lend a hand for a short shift or the whole evening, your time and effort make a big difference.
