The 9th Annual Freedom Fest will take place on July 4, 2026 at Greatest Generation Park in Thomaston, GA. Arts and craft vendors are invited to be part of our festival vendor market, located in the shaded pine thicket area of the park, operating from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
We welcome handmade, artistic, and craft-based vendors. All items must be appropriate for a family-friendly, community event.
Vendor spaces are 10’x10’, with the option to request a double space. Vendors must provide their own tents, tables, chairs, and display equipment. Limited access to electricity is available for a $15 add-on fee and must be requested in advance.
Setup & Breakdown:
Vendors will receive detailed setup instructions prior to the event. All vendors must be fully set up before the event begins and remain open for the duration of market hours. Breakdown may begin after 9:00 PM.
Parking:
Vendor parking is available on-site. Specific unloading and parking instructions will be provided closer to the event date.
Event Guidelines:
This is a family-friendly event. Vendors are expected to maintain clean, safe, and professional spaces throughout the event. Food sales are limited to approved food vendors only, which is a separate application.

Freedom Fest 2026 is a community event featuring a food trucks and food vendors from 4:00pm to 10:00 pm on July 4, 2026.
This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
We are looking for local partners (churches, non-profits, civic groups, and small businesses) that would be interested in providing a kid's zone activity at the Freedom Fest 2026 on July 4, 2026, 4:00pm-9:00pm. Setup is free and electricity can be provided at no charge. You are welcome to share/advertise information about your entity and your activities in the community. Activities can include games, interactive activities, crafts, learning opportunities, or anything that may match the theme of our festival. If you are struggling to figure out an activity you can contact Colleen Cook at 706-601-5853 for ideas. Some examples of activities could be face painting, temporary tattoo station, interactive games, or arts and crafts they can take home. Once you know your activity, it is very important to sign up and included on the form so that we can ensure that there are no repeat activities.

The 3rd Annual Ice Cream Sundae Eating Contest returns to Freedom Fest 2026! This high-energy, crowd-pleasing competition challenges participants to finish a massive “super sundae” in just 5 minutes.
Participants will compete for prizes and bragging rights, The top 3 eaters will receive a prize and Freedom Fest T-Shirt. Entries are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
What – To win this competition and claim the honor of 2026 Freedom Fest Hot Dog Eating Champion.

It's a Parade!! Join us for the Thomaston Freedom Fest golf cart and bicycle parade to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary! For a one mile stretch through Silvertown, walk, bike, or ride your way to the festival grounds on July 4, 2026 at 4:00pm.
FREE to participate.
Decorate your entry in red, white, and blue patriotic themes, and go all out! Prizes given to the top three entries.
Line up at City of Refuge Church parking lot by 3:30pm on July 3, 2026.
Calling all Cornholers! Bring your bestie and compete for the title of Best Cornholer in Middle Georgia with the Freedom Fest Cornhole Tournament on July 4, 2026 at 6:00pm. Walk-up registrations welcome, and its free to play. No age restriction to play.
Top teams win cash prizes and medals. We'll recognize you from the stage if you let us!
Tournament is monitoried by the Upson County Parks and Rec Department.
