The Commons is the room where everyone lands between sessions: coffee, tables, and people who can help. It is hosted by Community Connectors, organizations that serve Northern Colorado’s businesses, creatives, and nonprofits.
What Community Connectors get
- Dedicated time with attendees. Breaks and social programming are scheduled in The Commons, not around it.
- A small field. Tables are limited, so you are not lost in a crowd.
- Promotion. You are named on the site, in social posts, and in introductions during the event.
- Event tickets for the people staffing your table.
What we ask
- Be a resource first. Direct sales to attendees need our approval in advance.
- Staff your table during the breaks. That is when the room is full.
- Follow the venue’s rules and leave your space the way you found it.
Ways to join
- Host a table: $2,000 for all three days, Tuesday, March 9 through Thursday, March 11, 2027, at the Fort Collins Senior Center.
- Sponsor at Connect Champion or above: your table is included.
- Community Partner: a few tables are held for small, volunteer-led groups that help attendees for free and have no outreach budget. Each request is reviewed individually.

Fund access, not swag. Sponsors are why Founded in FoCo tickets start at $0. Your support pays for the rooms, the coffee, and a seat for the people who could not otherwise come.
Founded in FoCo 2027 runs March 8 to 11 at the Fort Collins Senior Center, for 500+ business owners, creatives, freelancers, founders, and nonprofit leaders.
Priority deadline: January 15, 2027.
Every sponsorship is confirmed with a sponsor agreement. Sponsorships are paid to Howdy Neighbor Events, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and may appear under that name on your statement. Questions? Email hello@foundedinfoco.com.
We invite you to help shape Founded in FoCo 2027 by submitting a session proposal! Founded in FoCo is a conference where people teach each other business skills, and every session is led by a member of our community.
Our 2027 theme: Got Grit? Get It. Grow It. Give It Away.
Get the skills you need. Grow what you're building. Give away what you've learned.
Founded in FoCo is built around functional areas that our organizations routinely work on (e.g. Marketing, Funding, Finance, Operations, etc). While some functional areas might seem specific to an industry or type of organization, each session is designed so that every attendee, regardless of industry or type, will find sessions that are relevant and valuable. We aim to be inclusive and create a safe space to dive into new ideas and build new skills. We strongly recommend session proposals align with a primary functional area.
NEW FOR 2027: SESSION LEVELS AND AI ADD-ONS
We ask every speaker for a session level (101, 201, or 301) and what attendees should already have done, so we can point each attendee to the sessions that fit them. There is no separate AI track this year. Some sessions will be paired with an AI add-on conversation, and the application asks if you would welcome one.
WHAT MAKES A STRONG PROPOSAL
Read the Community Needs Report before you apply: https://canva.link/3484mnwr33snfal
Our community asked for tools, not theory. If attendees can't apply it Monday morning, it will miss the mark. Teach a system, not just a skill. Keep your session at least 95% content and no more than 5% self-promotion.
