**Fabulous Fun Story Time with Tara Hoot – Event Policies** All volunteers, performers, parents, guardians, and attendees are expected to adhere to the following policies during the event. **WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT:** Family Fun Story Time with Tara Hoot is intended to be a welcoming environment free of bullying, harassment, intimidation, and victimization. The Pride Center of Terre Haute reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove individuals whose behavior causes others to feel unsafe, unwelcome, or discriminated against. **BE RESPECTFUL:** Our community is made up of people from many different backgrounds, identities, and experiences. This event is intended to be a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Please treat all attendees with respect. Sexism, racism, ableism, ageism, homophobia, fatphobia, transphobia, and other forms of discrimination or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event. Please respect personal boundaries and do not touch others without their consent. **BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR:** Please respect the event space, performers, volunteers, and fellow attendees. Keep walkways clear and follow any directions provided by event staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. **BE PATIENT AND KIND:** The Pride Center of Terre Haute and this event are powered by dedicated volunteers and community members. Everyone is working hard to create a positive experience for attendees. Bullying, harassment, or mistreatment of attendees, volunteers, or staff will not be tolerated. **HOLD HARMLESS FOR LOSSES:** Attendees understand that the Pride Center of Terre Haute, Inc. has no control over weather, acts of God, acts of terrorism, government intervention, or any other circumstances that may alter, interrupt, postpone, or cancel Family Fun Story Time with Tara Hoot. Attendees agree to hold the Pride Center of Terre Haute, Inc. harmless for any losses that may arise from such circumstances. **NO OFFENSIVE MATERIALS:** Materials, signage, or items deemed offensive or inappropriate by the Pride Center of Terre Haute, Inc. will not be permitted at the event. **CONDUCT:** All attendees are expected to conduct themselves appropriately. Family Fun Story Time with Tara Hoot is a family-friendly event, and children of all ages will be present. Please dress and behave in a manner appropriate for a community event centered on children and families.
