Health & safety guidelines
We’ve adjusted our building policies and procedures for operating during COVID. Following guidance from the CDC and state and local health departments, we’ve implemented a number of safety measures to help keep our community safe. Entryways, Hallways and Stairwells Every person over the age of 2 is required to wear a mask that’s worn properly (covering your mouth and nose). Masks are required in all common spaces, including hallways, elevators and stairwells, bathrooms, loading docks, and the mailroom. If you forgot yours, our Front Desk Ambassador has a few extra disposable masks at the desk for you, just ask. Each entrance has a hand sanitizer dispenser for your use as you come in or head out. We use an electrostatic sprayer in entrance lobbies early every morning. High-touch surfaces are cleaned regularly during peak business hours in addition to the regular daily cleaning regimen. Cleaning follows CDC guidelines and recommended cleaning products. We also use the electrostatic sprayer in the main stairwell each week. Railings are wiped down regularly during peak business hours. Windows in hallways and staircases will remain open and will only be temporarily closed when weather requires. Elevators Each passenger elevator has a wall-mounted, infrared non-contact thermometer. We encourage everyone to take an instant reading as you wait for the elevator to ensure that you do not have a fever (and obviously if you do -- please get yourself home and isolated until you receive a negative COVID test!). We use an electrostatic sprayer in all passenger elevators early every morning as well as regular cleanings of high-touch surfaces. This is on top of the regular daily cleanings each elevator received in a pre-COVID world. To ensure social distance,, please don’t crowd the elevators. We’ve ensured all exhaust systems are operating efficiently within the elevator cabs and the Rabbit Air Purifiers are cleaned and serviced regularly. Each passenger elevator has a sanitation station located right next to the call buttons. Please use them before and after using the elevator. Bathrooms Bathrooms are sanitized every morning and cleaned regularly throughout the day. Masks are required in all shared bathrooms. Reporting Process + Response Plan If you or a team member become symptomatic with COVID-19, isolate immediately and arrange for further testing to confirm a negative diagnosis. If you test positive, please quarantine immediately and reach out to anyone you may have been in close contact with in the days prior to becoming symptomatic or testing positive. Business operations are subject to the City of Philadelphia and State of PA regulations and guidelines, and, per the State, all businesses must complete and maintain a safety plan.
