Small business owners providing goods and services on the event day, such as candle makers or custom clothing creators, essential oils, charm bracelets, and painting crafts, are also invited.

Evening of the Arts is one of three major events for the City of Lawrenceville, hosted at the Lawrenceville Arts Center. This event is from 3 PM to 9 PM. However, vendor check-in is from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. All vendors must be prepared to greet the public by 2:45 PM. Application approvals for this event will take place throughout June and July. As part of this year’s Evening of the Arts celebration on July 25th, DTL CON-Quest is inviting writers, storytellers, and fantasy fans to compete in an original creative writing challenge centered around our official mascots, Atlas & Rune. Evening of the Arts celebrates creativity in all forms, bringing together artists, performers, writers, and the community for a Saturday dedicated to imagination and expression. For this competition, participants are asked to create the official backstory for Atlas & Rune. Atlas was once an ordinary fox… until he encountered Rune, a mysterious magical rune. After their meeting, Atlas developed a glowing fire tail, and the two set off on an adventure filled with mystery, danger, magic, and discovery. What happened? Where are they going? What challenges do they face? That part is up to you. Writers are encouraged to craft an imaginative and original story that captures the spirit of adventure, friendship, fantasy, and discovery that defines DTL CON-Quest. Since Atlas & Rune will appear as recurring mascots for future conventions, submissions should create a strong overarching story that allows room for future adventures, changing themes, and continued world-building year after year. All submissions must remain family-friendly and appropriate for audiences of all ages. The competition winner will be officially announced during Evening of the Arts on July 25th. Step into the world of Atlas & Rune and help shape the legend behind DTL CON-Quest.
