El Grito de Independencia Festival (Decatur)

El Grito commemorates the historic call for Mexican independence and has become a powerful celebration of Hispanic heritage, pride, and tradition. Join us in Downtown Decatur as we bring the community together for an evening filled with culture, music, food, and fun. Enjoy delicious food trucks, local downtown drink specials, vendors, dancing, a live DJ, inflatables and activities for the kids, and more! One of the highlights of the celebration will be our Hispanic Heritage & Mamalonas Parade, featuring colorful displays, cultural pride, flags representing Hispanic and Latin American communities, and some incredible trucks rolling through downtown.
