Bastrop Cultural Arts presents: Dia de Los Muertos

Día de los Muertos — Sunday, November 1 | 6:00–8:00 PM Join us for our 3rd Dia de Los Muertos special evening, put on by the Bastrop Cultural Arts honoring and remembering loved ones during this time of year. Enjoy complimentary fresh pan dulce, coffee, and hot chocolate while listening to live mariachi music. Explore community ofrendas (offering tables) at the museum and along the Honor/Remembrance Walk, (a short walk through the heart of downtown along Main Street) where we come together to celebrate the lives and memories of those who have passed. Fresh marigolds will also be available for purchase from Greenleaf Gatherings to add to your own remembrance or ofrenda. It is not required, but you can bring a photo of your loved one to honor and walk with. We will have complimentary craft paper fans provided by our team so that you may attach your photo. Or you can bring your own framed photo to take along the way. Battery operated tea light candles will also be available while supplies last. ***We will start the Honor Walk promptly at 7:00pm. ****
