This is the application process for organizations that would like to apply to host an event in Suwanee's Town Center Park for 2027. Application submission does not guarantee event acceptance. There is a $35 application fee that is collected and is not refundable for any reason.

This is the application process for organizations that would like to apply to host a 5K/walk or run in Suwanee's Town Center Park for 2027. There is a $35 application fee that is collected and is not refundable for any reason.

A few things to note about these types of events:

• Most runs or walks involve setting up the day of the event, with vendor load-in, registration, water station, finish line water, and snacks. While the start and finish take place in the road on Town Center Avenue and Charleston Market Street, other aspects of your run/walk can only be set up inside the park, like awards ceremonies, packet pickup, group-led stretching, and any other pre- and post-race activities.
  • We encourage organizers to utilize the stage and amphitheater area when possible. Once it's time for step-off, runners/walkers may be ushered over to the starting line from the park.
• All race routes will need to utilize Town Center Park for their race. Town Center on Main will not be a race start site; however, the route on Main Street that finishes in Town Center on Main may be used as an alternate route due to weather or construction of Martin Farm Road. Weather-related changes will NOT be determined until the Friday before race day at the sole discretion of the City's Events Division. 
• Typical race set-up occurs 2 hours before the event starts, and post-race clean-up takes about 1 hour. The time to complete a 5K is approximately 1 hour. If you have plans to be here outside of these times, please detail this on your application.
