About Our Festival: The Long Island Public Arts Festival (LIPAF) is an immersive public arts exhibition welcoming artists from across New York State. As the first stop on our 2026 multi-park expansion tour, the festival returns to the original park where it all started: Phelps Lane Park in the Town of Babylon. This specific installation will feature 7 of our signature life-size prisms thoughtfully placed throughout the park’s landscape, housing large-scale outdoor vinyl artwork. Visitors are invited to explore these installations, encouraging a fully immersive and interactive art experience. This year’s festival is expertly curated by BACCA and Colored Colors, made possible in part by a generous grant from the Suffolk County Office of Cultural Affairs (SCOCA) and the Town of Babylon.
Our mission is twofold: to provide an accessible and engaging arts festival for our community and to create new opportunities for talented local artists. The festival champions inclusivity, embracing both a diverse range of artists and a wide spectrum of artistic mediums. We aspire to enrich our community through artistic engagement, serving as a platform for innovative approaches to community engagement through arts and culture.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMITTING
Artists must be available for a scheduled appointment for artwork digitization between Monday, June 15th and Friday, June 19th, 2026. Selected Artists (excluding those submitting strictly digital work) will be required to bring their artwork to Len Marks Photography studio (376 New York Avenue Suite #2, Huntington NY 11743) to be professionally digitized for large-format printing. If an artist is unable to comply with this requirement during this specific window, we advise against submitting their work, as we will not be able to properly display it on the prisms.
