Join us for Kidz Town Halloween Hay Day on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 AM–1 PM in Historic Downtown Livermore! This popular FREE family event welcomes more than 5,000 attendees from throughout the Tri-Valley and surrounding areas, providing a great opportunity to showcase your business and connect with local families.
Trick-or-Treating will take place throughout Downtown Livermore and at Carnegie Park, with local businesses and organizations hosting festive activities for children in 5th grade and under.
Please Note: Due to the temporary Elephant Migration Art Exhibit, the kids’ activity and trick-or-treat booths will be relocated to Carnegie Park at Third and J Streets this year. The exhibit will feature multiple life-sized elephants throughout Downtown Livermore, including Stockmen’s Park and Bankhead Plaza.
Booth Requirements:
- 10' x 10' booth decorated in a Halloween theme
- Staff encouraged to dress in costume
- Provide a kid-friendly activity or game — think carnival atmosphere!
- Bring plenty of candy/treats for approximately 1,500–2,000 children
- Let us know if you will provide nut-free/allergy-safe treats so your booth can be identified accordingly
- Use the opportunity to engage with parents and promote your business
- Booth Fee: $100
Your card on file will be charged upon acceptance. Space is limited and applications will close October 9 or when all spaces are filled, whichever comes first.
Please note: Booth participation requires businesses to provide candy/treats continuously from 10 AM–1 PM.

All participating merchants will be listed on a trick-or-treat listing on our website
NOTE: Participants will be responsible for passing out candy from 10:00am – 1:00pm to approximately 1,500 kids. As a participant you will be responsible for handing out candy/treats to kids 5th grade and under. Please let us know if you will be providing allergy safe (No nuts) items so we can mark the booth list as Allergy Safe. We also encourage activities at booth, as this will give you more time to engage with the parents for outreach.
