The Hampton Police Department and Hampton Main Street invite local businesses, nonprofits, churches, civic organizations, and community resource providers to participate in our annual Come Out and Play Day (COPS Day). This free community event is designed to bring families together while connecting residents with the organizations, services, and resources that help make Hampton a great place to live.

Location
Parking instructions
Parking is available at Hampton Elementary School across from the park, 10 Central Avenue, Hampton, GA 30228. Community partners should plan to arrive early for setup and will be directed to a designated vendor/partner parking and unloading area by event staff. Please do not block fire lanes or emergency access points.
Health & safety
All community partners must comply with local health and safety guidelines. Booths, tables, and displays must not obstruct walkways or emergency access at McBrayer Park. Any electrical equipment, tents, or canopies must be properly secured and weighted for outdoor conditions. Organizations distributing food samples (not for sale) must follow applicable Henry County health guidelines. First aid and event staff will be on-site; any incidents should be reported immediately to Hampton Main Street or Hampton Police Department staff at the event.

Apply to be a Community Partner at COPs Day! This free application is for businesses, nonprofits, churches, and civic organizations who'd like to connect with Hampton families through giveaways, resources, and activities. This is an outreach-only event — no sales permitted.
Terms & Conditions
By applying to participate as a Community Partner in COPs Day, organizations agree to the following: This is a free community outreach event — no cost to participate. Sales of products, food, or services are not permitted; this event is for outreach, education, and engagement only. Partners are responsible for their own booth setup, staffing, and any materials, giveaways, or activities they bring. Hampton Main Street and the Hampton Police Department reserve the right to review and approve all participant applications and may decline participation that does not align with the community-focused, family-friendly nature of the event. Participants agree to keep their booth staffed and active for the full event duration (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM). Space assignments are made by Hampton Main Street and are final.
