Robert J. Sawyer — called “the dean of Canadian science fiction” by The Ottawa Citizen and “just about the best science-fiction writer out there” by The Denver Rocky Mountain News — is one of only eight writers in history (and the only Canadian) to win all three of the science-fiction field’s top honors for best novel of the year: the World Science Fiction Society’s Hugo Award, which he won for his novel Hominids; the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America’s Nebula Award, which he won for his novel The Terminal Experiment; and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award, which he won his novel Mindscan. I wrote all through high school and college, but stopped after graduation because life got in the way. Not being creative was always a source of depression for me, but it wasn't until September of 2019 that I was in the right phase of my life that when I got an idea, I was able to follow through with writing it. I've also had one short story published in an anthology, and won the Con Carolinas writing contest in both 2021 and 2022.

The Tinker Tank is a life-long art kid with a Studio Art degree that fell into costuming and cosplay through her post-collegiate pursuit of replicating the outfit of her childhood hero— Xena.
