Celebration of Life: Honoring Juleigh Mayfield

Join friends, chosen family, and community members as we celebrate the incredible life of Juleigh Mayfield—a fierce advocate, beloved friend, and one-of-a-kind soul whose courage, compassion, and larger-than-life personality left an unforgettable mark on our community. We'll kick off the evening at 6:00 PM with Wednesday Bingo Untucked!, a weekly tradition Juleigh truly enjoyed. Hosted by the fabulous Chantel Reshae—who always held a special place in Juleigh's heart—this fun-filled Drag Bingo is the perfect way to celebrate Juleigh the way she'd want us to: surrounded by friends, sharing laughter, making memories, and celebrating community. We also invite everyone to honor Juleigh by wearing something that reminds you of her. Maybe it's your favorite piece she gifted you, a fabulous blonde wig, bold animal print, sparkles, bright colors, oversized jewelry—or anything that makes you smile and makes you think, "That's so Juleigh!" She lived life unapologetically and encouraged others to do the same, so let's celebrate her in true Juleigh fashion—with confidence, laughter, and a lot of extra flair. 💜🐆✨ Juleigh dedicated her life to advancing visibility, understanding, and equality for the intersex community. She believed everyone deserved to be seen, heard, and celebrated exactly as they are. Through decades of advocacy, education, and fearless authenticity, she changed hearts, challenged minds, and helped build a more inclusive world. But if you knew Juleigh, you know she was so much more than an advocate. She was hilarious. A little wild. Wonderfully unpredictable. She had a quick wit, an infectious laugh, and a knack for making every gathering just a little more colorful. She could make you laugh until your sides hurt, then turn around and leave you thinking about something that truly mattered. She embraced life with joy, authenticity, and just the right amount of mischief, reminding all of us not to take ourselves too seriously. She was also a former Come Out With Pride Board Member, Grand Marshal, Pride Prom Royal Court honoree, and the creator of the *Seat at the Table* virtual community conversations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her kindness, humor, wisdom, and fearless spirit helped shape organizations, strengthened our community, and touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Throughout the evening, we'll share stories, smiles, and memories of a woman who inspired so many—not only through her advocacy, but through her kindness, resilience, and unapologetic spirit. Whether you knew Juleigh for years or only recently discovered her remarkable story, we invite you to join us in celebrating a life that made our community brighter, bolder, and a whole lot more fun.
