DEMO YOUR GAME
The application is for participants looking to demo their released or work in progress game (board game, RPG, video game, or experimental installation) at BurgQuest 2026. Demos can include full game sessions, playtesting, overview/rule demonstrations, or other presentations appropriate for interacting with guests in an expo setting.
IF ACCEPTED, WHAT'S PROVIDED?
Accepted game developers will be provided with free weekend badges to BurgQuest 2026 good for entry to the event during all operating hours, Friday-Sunday.
Mobile demos - demo setups that can be easily picked up and setup multiple times during the weekend, most common for board game and RPG devs - will be provided with signage and optional attendee time slot sign-ups, and can station themselves at any open tables within the BurgQuest tabletop freeplay spaces.
Stationary demos - setups requiring game hardware, screens, or other notable load-in efforts, most common for video games and experimental interactive installations - will be provided a complimentary 10'x10' trade show pipe and drape booth with a table, two chairs, and access to electricity.
TIMELINE
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis with a first round of accepted game demos to be confirmed no later June 1 with the form planned to remain open until the end of August. This form may close at any time depending on the number of entries received.
DEMO HOURS
All game devs are welcome to run their demos during any operational hours of BurgQuest 2026. Depending on setup needs, stationary demos in trade show booths may be unable to run on Friday night, but can plan on demoing during all hours on Saturday and Sunday. Game devs in stationary booths are responsible for their own equipment throughout the entirety of the event. Security will be in place for non-operational event hours for equipment left overnight.
MARKETPLACE VS GAME DEMO
If you intend to sell your game(s) or any other products, please do so through our Marketplace application. A Marketplace table will need to be separately staffed from a game demo. If you cannot staff both and would like to sell your product, we recommend applying for the Marketplace and preparing a walk-up demo appropriate for an expo setting.
