Parking instructions
There are typically many free (no meter) spots with 2 and 3 hour limits on 2nd Street very close to our front door. Keep in mind that since these spots are limited to 2-3 hours at a time, **you will need to move your car to a *different* block to restart the clock**. Cars left longer are liable to be ticketed.
Unlimited” Free Parking
If you look carefully, you can find spots with no time limit on them. The signage just isn’t always obvious.
If there are no signs that prohibit parking, and no signs with time limits, you’ve found an “unlimited” free parking spoit. **Just be sure to check signs in front of and behind your car!**
The following blocks have free spots with no time limits:
- Green St between 3rd and 2nd
- Fairmount between 2nd and 3rd
- Brown St between 5th and 2nd
Again, not every spot on these blocks is free/unlimited, and sometimes one side of the street is unlimited while the other is time limited, so be sure to check signs.
