About the event
Calling all ghouls and goblins! The City of Lawrenceville will host an evening of thrills and adventure at the Lawrenceville Lawn. BooFest a Treat Trail is a spin on Trunk-or-Treating, where we invite local businesses, organizations, and community members to decorate a booth space in their best Halloween decor at the Lawrenceville Lawn. Guests will get to collect candy and all sorts of goodies as they “Trick or Treat” from booth to booth. BooFest Treat Trail allows kids to enjoy trick-or-treating fun without crossing streets or walking near traffic. In addition to trick or treating, there will be Live Performances, Music, and all sorts of Entertainment. You won't want to miss out on all the spine-chilling adventures. The event is FREE to attend. COSTUMES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! Blankets and chairs are welcome. To register for a booth space in the 2022 BooFest Treat Trail, an APPLICATION is required and includes a 10 x 10 booth space and a 6ft table. Interested Treat Trail participants must be able to provide 500 – 1000 pieces of individually wrapped candy, tent, decor, and any additional event supply needs.

DTL Rocks! (Downtown Lawrenceville Rocks!) is a free, all-ages rock-painting booth sponsored by the Lawrenceville Arts Commission, along with a generous donation of supplies from the Lawrenceville Woman's Club. This application is for volunteers to help run the booth, distribute paint and supplies to event-goers, and clean up. Volunteers are also welcome to paint their own rocks as examples! Volunteers should expect that paint and water may get on your clothing during the event, so please dress appropriately or bring a smock and/or apron. Volunteers must be registered in order to volunteer. To ensure safety, volunteers must adhere to guidelines placed by the city.

Volunteers will arrive to Boofest to assist the Events Team in various activities such as, but not limited to, load-in, check-in assistance, beautification, sanitization, and much more. Boofest is an event that has two volunteer opportunities. This application is for those interested in volunteering for the actual event on October 28th Please join us this year, as we are in search of incredible volunteers to ensure a successful event in our community. Volunteers will receive T-shirts for their assistance, but sizes are limited. Volunteers must be registered in order to volunteer! To ensure safety, volunteers must adhere to guidelines placed by the city, guidelines which include the wearing of the mask at all times, temperature checks prior to the shift, & the proper use of gloves onsite.

Volunteers will arrive to assist the Events Team in preparing for the Boofest event on October 28th. Volunteers will arrive at Lawrenceville's CIty Hall and help prepackage candy bags for the Halloween event Boofest. Please join us this year, as we are in search of incredible volunteers to ensure a successful event in our community. Volunteers must be registered in order to volunteer!
