What Is “Bones About Town?"
Bones About Town is a Halloween campaign designed to bring energy and foot traffic throughout Downtown Littleton during October. The activation makes 25 skeletons part of a unique downtown experience that is easy to notice, fun to photograph and connected to opportunities to win gift cards.

How It Works
Find: Visitors encounter skeletons displayed on 25 lampposts throughout downtown.

Scan: Oversized “toe tags” on each skeleton feature QR codes that connect visitors to a campaign landing page where they are prompted to enter an email address.

Win: Each scan and email entry creates an opportunity to win. A person can scan up to 25 unique skeletons one time each week. One person will win one $100 gift card to a participating business on the four Saturdays leading up to Halloween. On Saturday, October 31st, an extra “grand prize winner” will be selected from all participants to win a $250 gift card to the participating business of their choice.

While your sponsorship helps bring Bones About Town to life, we’d also love to see Downtown Littleton businesses get creative throughout October. There’s no requirement to do anything beyond your sponsorship—but the more businesses that join in, the more fun we can create throughout Downtown Littleton!

Consider:

• Create a skeleton-themed window or in-store display to catch the attention of people exploring downtown.
• Offer a limited-time “Bones About Town” menu item — a spooky cocktail or mocktail, dessert, coffee drink, appetizer or other October special.
• Create a BAT-inspired product or promotion — from skeleton-themed merchandise to a “scary good” October special.
• Create a skeleton photo op inside or outside your business and encourage customers to tag @DowntownLittletonCO.
• Feature a “Bone-afide Favorite” — highlight a favorite product, service or menu item for the month.
• Dress up your storefront for the season with skeletons, bones or other Halloween décor.
• Put your own skeleton to work — pose one shopping, dining, working behind the counter or enjoying your business, and change up the scene throughout the month.
• Join the fun on social media by sharing your skeleton antics, promoting Bones About Town and encouraging followers to Find. Scan. Win.
• Come up with your own idea! The goal is simply to have fun, give visitors another reason to explore downtown and make October feel extra lively throughout the district.

Recognition includes:

• Logo placement on assigned skeleton’s “toe tag” (25 available)
• Logo placement on all digital promotions from September 21st to October 31st.
