Big Night on the Planet is a music-concert extravaganza featuring Better Kenney, The Rusty Nails, and Paradise Daze. Big Night on the Planet shows were once a vibrant part of the Nashville non-country music scene, presenting bands on the verge of being signed to major labels and/or just flat-out awesome bands. Big Night on the Planet is now coming to The Palace Theater in Gallatin! If you love music, you will LOVE this show! Better Kenney is an upcoming alternative band from right here in Gallatin. You may have heard their song “BBQ Water” on numerous streaming platforms. The Rusty Nails is fronted by Ken McMahan, formerly of The Dusters on Reptile Records. Other notable members of this stellar band are bassist Billy Mercer, who has played with Ryan Adams, The Pinkhearts, Lucinda Williams, and others; guitarist Tobin Dale has played with Ray Wylie Hubbard and others. This band is a seriously experienced, high-energy, bluesy rock band at its best! Paradise Daze is one of the most talked-about reggae bands in Tennessee, often featured at tie-die and deadhead-oriented festivals and concerts across the state. And, there’s a bit more.
