Bag Policy! All bags are subject to search by either MPD,MCC staff or Big Minneapolis Anime staff prior to entry. All items are subject to approval. Weapon Policy! Convention staff and security reserve the right to inspect all attendees’ props to ensure that no authentic weapons of any kind are brought onto the convention center property or into the convention center building. By attending the convention, all attendees expressly agree and consent to this inspection and waive any and all objections. Any and all authentic weapons are strictly prohibited and those found or identified during any such inspection may be confiscated by convention staff and security. Ultimately, venue security and Minneapolis Police will decide what is allowed and not allowed into the convention. However, you can assume that the following will NOT be allowed: Any real firearms. Any metal weapon with an exposed point or sharpened edge (swords, spears, arrows etc). Metal or wooden baseball bats and/or clubs. Any weapon or prop that produces a flame. Airsoft, paintball, and bb/pellet weapons.
