Join us on June 9, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the picturesque Redwood Amphitheater in Great America Theme Park for an unforgettable day of music, entertainment, and community. Presented by Sapphire Excursions & Events, the Bay Area Pride Festival promises an exhilarating experience for all. Dance to the rhythm of Red Corvette's electrifying beats as they take the stage to deliver a performance that will leave you breathless and begging for more. But the Bay Area Pride Festival is more than just a concert—it's a celebration with a cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit three amazing charities: *East Bay Getting to Zero AIDS Memorial Fund - which supports vital initiatives in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The AIDS Memorial will honor the memory of those we've lost. * Sapphire Moments. A travel charity that grants final wish, bucket list trips to end stage ovarian cancer patients. * The Rainbow Rotary Club - which is the 2nd rotary club in the world to complete local and international charitable projects that have been vetted through an LGBT lens for inclusion and equity, The Inaugural Bay Area Pride Festival is a testament to the power of community coming together to create positive change. General Driving Directions From San Francisco US 101 south to Great America Parkway exit (45 mi/72km); From San Jose US 101 north to Great America Parkway exit (3mi/5km); From Oakland I-880 south to 237, then west to Great America Parkway exit (45mi/72km); From Sacramento: I-80 west to I-680 south; then Highway 237 west to Great America Parkway exit (142mi/229km).

Health & safety guidelines
APPROPRIATE ATTIRE Shirts, shorts/pants, and shoes must be worn at all times while at California's Great America. Proper swimming attire for South Bay Shores is defined as a one- or two-piece swim suits without abrasive buttons, rivets, zippers or snaps. Costumes and face paint are not permitted during Tricks and Treats. SAFETY GUIDELINES The safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority, and we have implemented several enhanced security procedures at the front gate. As part of the process: Guests arriving at the park will go through metal detection every public operating day. All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. will be examined prior to entering. Sharp objects (including pocketknives and metal chains), firearms or other items that could be considered a weapon are strictly prohibited and should be left at home or secured in your vehicle. Other prohibited items include speakers, chairs, glass of any kind (except perfume bottles), food (except for special dietary needs), water guns, luggage, prescription drugs (unless in original packaging), weapons, bottled or canned beverages (except sealed bottles of water), hard-side coolers, beach umbrellas, fireworks, scissors, knives and child scooters/wagons. Please see our separate FAQ on outside food and beverages. We use a variety of methods in securing our parks, including uniformed and plain-clothed officers and video surveillance monitoring. California's Great America does not tolerate guests who fight and/or harass other guests. People who engage in this behavior are subject to being ejected and potentially banned from the park and may be subject to arrest by local police.

The inaugural Bay Area Pride Festival is a joining of communities from around the bay. Besides engaging, family-friendly activities, workshops, music, and, community resources, the day culminates in a show-stopping performance by Red Corvette a Prince tribute band extraordinaire!

The Day
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Exhibitor booths, activities, and musical guests. Booths close at 4:00 pm.
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Introduction of causes, Headliner - Red Corvette. Premium-Merchant booths close at 6:00 pm.
