About the event
Get ready to celebrate love, unity, and pride at the inaugural Bay Area Pride Festival, featuring a show-stopping performance by Red Corvette! Join us on June 9, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the picturesque Redwood Amphitheater in Great America Theme Park for an unforgettable day of music, entertainment, and community.
Presented by Sapphire Excursions & Events, the Bay Area Pride Festival promises an exhilarating experience for all. Dance to the rhythm of Red Corvette's electrifying beats as they take the stage to deliver a performance that will leave you breathless and begging for more.
But the Bay Area Pride Festival is more than just a concert—it's a celebration with a cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit three amazing charities:
*East Bay Getting to Zero AIDS Memorial Fund - which supports vital initiatives in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The AIDS Memorial will honor the memory of those we've lost.
* Sapphire Moments. A travel charity that grants final wish, bucket list trips to end stage ovarian cancer patients.
* The Rainbow Rotary Club - which is the 2nd rotary club in the world to complete local and international charitable projects that have been vetted through an LGBT lens for inclusion and equity,
The Inaugural Bay Area Pride Festival is a testament to the power of community coming together to create positive change. From the vibrant rainbow flags flying high to the joyous laughter echoing throughout the park, this event is a beacon of hope, acceptance, and solidarity.
So mark your calendars and spread the word! Whether you're a member of the LGBTQ+ community, an ally, or simply someone who believes in love and equality for all, the Bay Area Pride Festival welcomes you with open arms. Let's come together to celebrate diversity, embrace authenticity, and create a brighter, more inclusive future for generations to come.

The AIDS Memorial Garden built through the efforts of East Bay Getting to Zero will honor the lives lost from the HIV epidemic to ensure that we never lose sight of the foundation on which East Bay Getting to Zero’s collaborative work is built.
https://youtu.be/_S_3gWaw8Lg
The purpose of the AIDS Memorial Garden is to memorialize those lost to HIV/AIDS and serve as a community healing space for people in the East Bay who have been significantly impacted by HIV, including surviving family members and friends.
The vision for our garden is to become a space for all generations to learn the history of the HIV epidemic and honor the hard-fought successes of their forebears.
The East Bay does not currently have an AIDS memorial garden or other public physical space dedicated to honoring those lost to HIV and the resilience of survivors. Your donations will help build the garden sanctuary as we continue our fight to end stigma and the HIV epidemic.
