Established in 2004, the Bay View Bash is a community festival of food, art, music, crafts, books, and community organizations.The Bash is the main funding source of the Bay View Community Fund Inc, a IRS certified 501(c)4, Non-for-Profit Foundation. All proceeds from the Bay View Bash are directly invested back into our city’s neighborhoods through GRANTS to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations who request funding for special projects. Additionally, the Bay View Bash partners with local composting group Kompost Kids to continue efforts in moving the Bash toward a near Zero-Waste Festival.

Since a mobile food establishment is like a restaurant on wheels, many of the same code requirements for restaurants apply to mobile food establishments, including licensing.
