All entries will be juried by a standards committee. Jurying will continue until we are at capacity. If we exceed the number of acceptable entries in any category, acceptance will be based on the date the application was received. No one is guaranteed acceptance or a specific space based on past attendance and/or location.

 

Please read the Festival Rules, Guidelines, and Policies carefully. By submitting an application and participating, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and standards set forth by The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce.

 

Please note: There is a $25 non-refundable jurying fee. Submitting an application and processing of payment does not guarantee acceptance into the 2025 Arts in the Alley Music & Arts Festival. If your application is not approved, you will be refunded as soon as possible upon completion of the jurying process.

The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Arts in the Alley Arts & Music Festival on September 19–21, 2025. Below are the guidelines and policies for Concessions vendors. Concessions are defined as an organization or business selling food that is not a food truck.

 

Concessions Rules & Guidelines

By filling out an application, you hereby agree to comply with all policies and requirements set forth by The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Grove City and local/federal health departments.

 

  1. Concessions are operated by non-profit organizations unless otherwise approved and permitted by the GCACC Arts in the Alley Committee.

  2. The application fee is $100 per unit and must be submitted with the completed application.

  3. Applicants must accurately specify the correct electrical service needed on their application. Once selected, this cannot be changed. 

  4. Ice trucks and trailers are counted as separate units.

  5. Food vendors must comply with all Grove City codes, and must provide safe cords and cord coverings

  6. Food vendors are required to have an approved fire extinguisher on site.

  7. All food and beverage items to be sold or served must be listed on the application. Items not approved will not be permitted at the festival.

  8. The GCACC Events Committee will assign concession spaces.

  9. Food vendors must obtain a Temporary Food Service Operation License from the Franklin County Board of Health, or must have a current Mobile Food License. All licenses are the vendor's responsibility and vendors be ready to present them upon request at any time during the Festival.

  10. Vendors must follow regulations from the Franklin County Board of Health, Jackson Township Fire Department, and Grove City Building and Electrical Codes.

  11. Food vendors are required to remain until the festival closes or until officially excused by festival staff.

  12. Vendors are responsible for keeping their space clean and free of trash at the end of each day.

  13. The GCACC will receive 10% of the Concession vendor's net profit. Payment is due within 30 days after the festival ends.

The maximum amount of space allotted for each food vendor is 25' x 8'. The main sales unit(s) and any accessories must fit into this space, or you will be required to remove them. By submitting an application, agree to comply with the City of Grove City's building and electrical codes as well as the regulations and requirements set by the Franklin County Board of Health.

A food truck is defined as a large motorized vehicle (i.e., a van, truck) that prepares and sells food and/or beverages.

 

Food Truck Rules & Guidelines

 

By filling out an application, you hereby agree to comply with all policies and requirements set forth by The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Grove City and local/federal health departments.

 

Food Trucks have 2 options for scheduled participation in the Festival:

  • Full Festival – Friday (9/19) through Sunday (9/21) – $200
    • Setup begins at 12 pm on Friday (9/19). Food vendors are dismissed for teardown at 4 pm on Sunday (9/21)
    • Food vendors are required to remain onsite and open for all open hours of the Festival
    • Food vendors will be assigned spacing within the footprint of the festival.
  • Saturday & Sunday Only – Saturday (9/20) & Sunday (9/21) – $175
    • Food vendors are required to remain open for all open hours of their selected festival dates
    • Food vendors are required toto be open at 10 AM on both days.
    • Food vendors will be assigned spaces along Broadway.
