Join Kentuck for a trip to Florence, AL on August 22, 2025! Participants will meet at Kentuck and will carpool to Florence. The day will begin with a visit to George's farm to see how he grows his broom corn, watch a few demonstrations of the broom making process, and to shop his handmade brooms. Then, participants will eat lunch at a local restaurant before returning back to Northport post-lunch.
Participants will depart Kentuck at 8:30 AM and will return by 5 PM. This trip requires a minimum of 6 participants and is limited to a maximum of 12. If the minimum is not met, participants will be refunded.

Parking instructions
Please park at Kentuck Art Center in Northport. There is parking located off Main Avenue and off 5th Street by the Clarke Building.
