We welcome non-profits and community organizations to connect with thousands of attendees each week. For a nominal fee, you can host an information booth to share your mission, engage with the community, and raise awareness for your cause. This is a great opportunity to interact with locals and visitors in a lively, high-traffic environment.

We encourage all information booths to be interactive and engaging—whether through games, demonstrations, hands-on activities, or giveaways. A dynamic setup will help draw people in and create a memorable experience.

How the Application & Registration Payment Process Works:

1)  Submit Application You'll be asked to add a method of payment, you will NOT be charged until your application is approved.
2)  If Your Application is approved, you will receive an email letting you know that you have been accepted and your card on file will automatically be charged.
3) When payment has posted, your space is considered reserved!
4)  Refunds will only be issued under special circumstances.

We prioritize booths that are community-driven and provide a valuable service to attendees. Organizations that offer interactive experiences, educational resources, or meaningful engagement that benefits the community will be given preference in the application process. Our goal is to create a space where non-profits and information booths contribute to the vibrant, inclusive, and service-oriented atmosphere of the Friday Night Market.

In collaboration with Humboldt Made, Arcata Chamber of Commerce and the City of Arcata we are bringing Friday Night Markets to the Plaza! There will be music, food, vendors, a bar, and so much community fun! We're excited for what this will bring to the Arcata community, businesses, vendors, and neighbors alike!

FOR WEEK 1: Cal Poly Humboldt will be giving incoming students $20 food vouchers to use at food booths. Please collect these and save them when you receive them, and we will cash you out at the end of the event! Due to this, it would be good for you to put up a QR code to help people tip you!

While we strive to accommodate all vendors, demand for booth spaces is high. To ensure a diverse food selection, we curate placements (e.g., limiting duplicate offerings). Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot—once accepted, we will confirm your placement and arrange booth payment. Arcata Chamber and/or Humboldt made members get priority for acceptance and booth placement.

This application is for prepared food vendors only. If you are a packaged food vendor or operate under a Cottage Food Operation (CFO) license, please complete the Artisan Vendor application instead.

How the Application & Registration Payment Process Works:
 1)  Submit Application You'll be asked to add a method of payment, you will NOT be charged until your application is approved.
2) If your Application is approved, your card on file will automatically be charged.
3)  Only when your payment has posted is your space considered reserved.

A pack-in, pack-out policy is enforced, meaning vendors must take their trash with them.

All food vendors are required to carry a Temporary Food Facility Permit in order to participate in this open-air festival setting.  The permit application can be found here:  https://tinyurl.com/yfrm7mbx If you have questions regarding what type of permit is required of you to obtain or questions about if your current permit extends to your participation in Friday Night Market, please reach out to DHHS directly:  707-445-6215 or envhealth@co.humboldt.ca.us

Please Note:  We are happy to provide you with the necessary TFFP application and information that is readily available to the public.  Because we are not affiliated or agents of DHHS, we are not able to provide unique situational advice on individual needs (this then would become a liability issue, so we encourage you to go to the source, DHHS, to get your questions answered).

There will be music, food, vendors, a bar, and so much community fun! We're excited for what this will bring to the Arcata community, businesses, vendors, and neighbors alike!

Due to high demand for booth spaces, we curate vendor selections to ensure a diverse and balanced marketplace. Submitting an application does not guarantee placement. Arcata Chamber and/or Humboldt made members get priority for acceptance and booth placement.

The Arcata Friday Night Market prioritizes local artisans, requiring all products to be handmade, crafted, or produced in Humboldt County. Vendors outside the area may be considered if they have a strong local connection. All items must be original and handmade by the vendor or their immediate team—mass-produced goods and resale items are not allowed. Additionally, direct sales and multi-level marketing businesses are not eligible to participate.

Vendors must comply with all required permits and regulations and are responsible for maintaining professional, well-presented booths. A pack-in, pack-out policy is enforced, meaning vendors must take their trash with them. All participants must uphold the values of diversity, inclusivity, and community spirit.

Any packaged food/CFO vendors must have the appropriate permits. All food prep must occur in a licensed commercial kitchen or a permitted/registered Cottage Food Operation (CFO) home kitchen.  It is not lawful to prepare food in an un-permitted/non-commercial kitchen that you will be bringing to the event.  A DHHS inspector will be on site during each event, and if you are not in compliance you will be asked to shut down your operation and suspend sales (we do not process refunds in this scenario).

Booth Sharing: If a full month feels like too much, consider sharing a booth with another vendor and alternating nights! Just make sure BOTH vendors apply separately and note the name of the business you will share a booth with in the special requests section--That part is very important!! While each person will have to enter their credit card, only ONE card will be charged if you are accepted. Each 10x10 booth may be shared by a maximum of two vendors.
