About the event
Anime Detour is Minnesota's largest and longest running anime convention. Presented by Anime Twin Cites, Inc, and established in 2004, we are a non-profit, 3-day cultural, educational, and entertainment convention, dedicated to the promotion of Japanese culture including anime and manga.

Parking instructions
There is limited parking available near the Loring Parking Ramp (connected to the Hyatt Regency), Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown Convention Center and Hilton Minneapolis. Please be mindful of hotel guests. NOTICE: There will still be ongoing construction at the Loring Parking Ramp which will impact the number of available parking spaces.
Our alternative parking is the MCTC Parking Ramp. Anime detour is allowed at a discounted rate of $10 per entry. If you leave your car here for the weekend, then you will be charged the entry fee once. However, if you leave the ramp and return for any reason, you will be charged the entry fee again. There is a shuttle bus running from this ramp to the Hyatt Regency, Sheraton Downtown Minneapolis Convention Center, and Hilton Minneapolis.

Thank you for your interest in staffing Anime Detour 2027: On My Way to an Anime Convention I Took an Unexpected Detour, and Now I Have to Fight the Final Boss.
We have a short list of staff requirements. Please know that this is a volunteer position and not a paid position.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to adhere to our Staff Handbook
- Must be able to attend meetings either online or in person and respond in a timely fashion to your Department Heads.
Please Note: Name matching legal ID is required. Every effort will be made to ensure that only your chosen name is used.
