Ales for Ashley @ Turning Point Beer

Ales for Ashley is an event to honor and remember Ashley Magness. Ashley was a resident of Arlington for 33 years and she taught in the AISD district for 18 years. She was diagnosed with a GBM brain tumor in May of 2014 and fought the brave fight for 22 months. A $50 ticket includes beer, music, silent auction and food. Join us for a night of fun as we raise money to support innovative Glioblastoma brain cancer research. Sarah and the Saratones will be performing rock, Motown, blues, folk, and country music. 100% of the proceeds will support the work of Dr Maher at UT Southwest. She is doing some great research using spectroscopy to determine if a certain gene is present in the tumor. With this information, new therapies and treatment options are available to the patient.
