Come to the Kissimmee Civic Center on Saturday, February 25, 2023, to enjoy the City of Kissimmee's African American Read-In event, in partnership with Osceola County Library. The African American Read-In is a unique open-mic style event that celebrates African-American authors and artists that made significant cultural and artistic impacts on our nation and the world. You are welcome to volunteer to read or perform a selection at this event. You can either have a selection given to you OR you can bring your own piece. All pieces read must be written by an African American.
