Join us for the annual Jekyll Island Book Festival. Designed for all book lovers, the festival line-up will include a mix of author presentations, meet-and-greets, signings, book and retail sales, and family-friendly fun. Situated on the scenic Beach Village Green, the idyllic beachfront promenade is surrounded by shops and restaurants, adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean.

About the organizer
Jekyll Island Authority
Recognizing that Jekyll Island’s natural beauty and vibrant history set it apart from any other coastal retreat, the Governor and the Georgia State Legislature established the island as a state park and entrusted its care to the Jekyll Island Authority (JIA). The Jekyll Island Authority is a self-supporting state agency responsible for the overall management and stewardship of Jekyll Island. Our mission: As stewards of Jekyll Island’s past, present and future, we’re dedicated to maintaining the delicate balance between nature and humankind. JIA has set up parameters to protect the island’s ecosystem while ensuring it remains an inviting destination for guests. We oversee the conservation, development, and management of Jekyll Island, and rely on operating revenues from leases, fees, and island amenity operations. Jekyll Island does not receive any tax revenues for its operation.

Vendor application includes - Book Craft Vendors - Stationary Vendors - Office Supply Vendors - Educational Vendors Requirements - Applicant must submit five (4) images: - Three (3) vendor’s product images - One (1) authentic booth image. That is an actual image of vendors booth setup -- Must include the entire booth, not a portion. -- The booth image shows the jury the vendors body of work, provides dimension and scale, a sense of artistic and creative presentation, and must reflect what artists booth will look like at the Festival. Sometimes a booth image is a final deciding factor of acceptance. NOTE: An application will be rejected if these rules are not followed. Section criteria includes, but is not limited to: - Product -- Quality -- Venue-appropriate - Presentation -- Quality of Presentation -- Booths should be organized, professional, and inviting, and include personal flare to set them apart. _______________________________________________________________________________ There are two locations for vendors, the Village Green Pavilion or along Ocean Way. The Village Green Pavilion is a large tent on the Beach Village Green where authors and vendors can purchase a space under the tent. Ocean Way is the road that connects the Convention Center to the Beach Village, where authors and vendors can set up their own tent for a discounted rate. Please thoroughly read over the entire Application Rules and Regulations (attachment below), for your category, before filling out and submitting an application. Both location Rules and Regulations are included in each of the categories. A submitted application constitutes a contract to follow those rules and regulations and accept Festival terms.
