Celebrate Independence Day in Edenton with a full day of family-friendly festivities, from the award winning reading of the Declaration of Independence, a classic car show, farmers market, and historic reenactments to parades, waterfront activities, contests, and live music. The celebration wraps up with a stunning fireworks display over the Albemarle Sound—making it a perfect day to volunteer, participate, and enjoy all that our community has to offer.

Help us line up our participants for the second annual Golf Cart + Bike Parade! The Edenton Police Department will be first and last in this parade to ensure safety.
