45th Annual International Folk Festival September 22nd- September 24th All nationalities join together each year at The Arts Council's International Folk Festival to honor and celebrate our diverse cultural heritage as ONE COMMUNITY. Now in its 44th year, our region's longest-standing family festival features over 30+ CULTURAL GROUPS represented in our Parade of Nations, International Café & Cultural performances which unify in sharing the artistic vibrancy of their heritage. 50,000-75,000+ ATTENDEES enjoy an array of festivities in the performing arts, live music and dance, international cuisines, ART Market, Kids Area, and lots of family-friendly fun Arts Market Parade of Nations Around the World 5k Run International Cuisines Cultural Performances Interactive Art Installations Kids Area

We would like to invite the entire International community of Fayetteville/Cumberland County to join us for the best parade of the year!!!!   The parade of nations is one our key feature events and showcases the rich cultural heritage and diversity that we have within the Cumberland County & NC Region.

The Arts Council invites artists of all disciplines to apply for a performance spot during the 45th International Folk Festival!
 
The International Folk Festival will be taking place September 22-24th 2023 in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina.

In addition to the cultural food, education, and entertainment we plan to have an extensive ART focus for our festival to include Art installations, Live ART, and of course an Arts Market.  We would like to invite you to join us for the largest celebration of ARTS and culture in the area and apply as a Vendor in our Arts Market.  

Thank you for your interest in being an ARTS MARKET vendor at the 2023 International Folk Festival hosted by the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County in Downtown Fayetteville. 
 
PLEASE NOTE:  This application only applies to Art Market Vendors, please consult the homepage for a list of all other vendor applications (Food, Parade, International etc.).
 
ART MARKET Hours:
Saturday September 23th 12pm-7pm
Sunday September 24th   12pm-7pm
 
Arts and Craft Vendors: $100
 
This price includes one 10x10 booth space at our 45th Annual International Folk Festival.  The Arts Council will provide each Artist with a space number and 10x10 space NOT INCLUDING ELECTRICITY (May be purchased for additional fee).  The artist will be responsible for any tent, tables, chairs, merchandise, wifi access and other equipment needed to sell your art/wares during the event.
 
Vendors will be charged the full amount of the application to include additional options (electricity, late fee, early morning set-up etc.) if/when application is approved.  The festival is a rain or shine festival and no refunds or exchanges will be allowed after submission.

One of the best-known features of the International Folk Festival is the International food, art, and merchandise.  We partner with artists and vendors from our local community as well as across the state/region, and we would like to invite all of our International Community Friends to reach out for opportunities. 
 
International Cultural Vendor Hours:

Sunday September 24th   12pm-7pm
 
Artists in this category are affiliated with non-profits, cultural organizations and artists that support these cultural communities via sales of their food, merchandise, and art.  In order to apply as an International Group Vendor you must have approval from Arts Council staff.  For more information contact Antonio Renteria at AntonioR@theartscouncil.com or 910-323-1776.
