THIS APPLICATION IS FOR THOSE EXHIBITORS WITH A MIX OF BOTH HANDMADE AND  COMMERCIAL MERCHANDISE, OR ALL COMMERCIAL GIFTWARE OR GARDEN MERCHANDISE . Thank you for your interest in EMG's Annual Virginia Beach Spring Craft Market.  Traditionaly our shows are juried fine art and craft events, however for our 2023 event we are allowing a small number of commercial exhibitors to apply that have specifically handmade garden-themed items, garden items, or garden giftware that will compliment our showcased Porch & Patio section of our show.  Please be sure to scroll all the way down and read over all the information before applying as we have done our best to answer all your questions before you submit your application! This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the size booth you require, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
 
A deposit of $100 is required with the submission of your application in the form of a credit card or bank draft.  Your deposit will not be charged unless you are selected for the event.  Please be prepared to have $100 deducted from your credit or checking account within 15 business days of your application submission.   Booth balances must be paid in full by February 23, 2023. 
 
All items displayed in exhibitor's booth must be  representative of the inventory of items you have shown in the photos you attach to this application.  No other items will be allowed to be exhibited and sold.
 
All Exhibitors are required to participate the entire event weekend: 
Friday & Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm. 
Set up times are Thursday from 3pm-9pm and Friday 7am-9:30 am.  Accepted Exhibitors must be set up and be prepared to open their booth by 9:45 am each day.  Exhibitors  are given one hour on Saturday & Sunday to re-stock their booth.  Shared Storage areas in the back of the room are provided for restock during show hours. 
 
Other Expenses:
A discounted hotel room block will be provided for participating exhibitors  for this event.  Electricity can be ordered directly from the Dulles Expo Center. Information and web links on both these items will be provided after acceptance. Each booth comes with an 8 foot high back drape, however all display apparatus are the artists responsibility. Tables, Chairs and Drape can be rented by adding it to your application below.

Categories: Listed in the Related Files section of this application (scroll down the application)  is  EMG's Accepted Categories. Please be sure to review them and determine what best describes your body of work. In most cases it describes the raw materials of which the work is comprised. If you are uncertain, make your best guess, and you will be contacted if the jury feels you would best fit in another category (and we can manually change your application.) Artists may apply in up to 2 categories. If you sell jewelry, you may apply in a category other than Jewelry if jewelry is less than 10% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry. All work displayed in the booth must be created by the artist in the booth, must be for sale or marked as a display item, and must be representative of the work you have shown in the photos you attach to this application.
